Audit
Workflow Automation Opportunity Audit
Prioritize automation where it will actually improve execution.
- Volume: how often does the process run?
- Friction: how much waiting, rework, or manual intervention exists?
- Control: what approvals, audit needs, or service levels must be preserved?
- Ownership: who owns rules, exceptions, and business definitions?
- Data fit: are the required inputs trusted and available at the right point?
- Exception pattern: what percentage of work deviates from the standard path?
If these conditions are weak, redesign the workflow first. If they are strong, automation usually creates measurable value quickly.
